Join Robert and Cliff for a day of tubing and lunch at Kelly Park/Rock Springs. We are collecting $15 from each member ($20 from guests) to help pay for lunch (sandwiches and fixings from Publix), the pavilion rental, and tubes we will share for floating (or you can bring your own float). Note, you will still have to pay the park admission fee when you enter the park.
While the park opens at 8 AM - don’t come early; it will only put you in a very long line of cars trying to get into the park. Because the club has rented a pavilion, we are ensured park entrance, even if the park reaches capacity. So, instead, arrive after 9:30 AM and before 1 PM. The long line will be mostly gone. When you prepay your $15, Janice will send you a pavilion ticket that ensures your car's entry. Just show the officer directing traffic that you have a pavilion ticket and you will be allowed through the gate.
Park Admission Fee: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people; $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people; and $1 for additional person/walk-ins/motorcycles/bikes. No pets and no alcohol.
Tubing on Rock Springs
Kelly Park features a free-flowing natural spring (68 degrees year round). Guests may bring their own pool noodles or floats that must be less than five feet in length or width. The waterfront closes one hour prior to park closing. During the summer, inclement weather can affect park operations; for the safety of our guests, the swim area will be closed if a storm produces lightning.
